Starry, Starry Night Extra Credit
- Choose a video to watch
- Watch the movie
- Now watch it again, take notes on the main points and vocabulary words
- Write a summary of the video in one paragraph
- Paint or color the inside of shoe box black.
- Draw the constellation inside on the back of the box
- Place glow-in-the-dark stickers on the constellation OR poke holes through the box and add christmas lights
- Do a short write up summarizing the story/myth of your constellation to add onto the box

Water Cycle Claymation Videos
Students created these videos about the phases of the Water Cycle using clay. The videos were shot with a still camera and put into iMovie and made into a video. The students added text, music and their voices to the videos as well.

Science Class: Ecology Travel Guide





In this project students were asked to complete a portion of a Guide Book about a specific country as a group. Each student had a part that they were required to complete for the book. Each student was also required to research a specific plant and animal from their given country.
Here are the roles assigned to each student:
Student A - Location, Temperature, Rainfall & Biotic/Abiotic Factors
Student B - Food Chains/Webs, Photosynthesis & Energy Pyramid
Student C - Cycles, Carrying Capacity, Biodiversity & Competition
Student D - Invasive species, Niche, Symbiosis & Succession
After they completed their books they presented the ecology of their country to the class in an oral presentation.
